Description

Regulates Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner's and Certified Professional Midwives. The Board of Nursing enforces the laws and rules applicable to the practice of nursing including the use of disciplinary proceedings and disciplinary action. Approval of nursing education programs preparing registered nurse and licensed practical nurse candidates and approval of all advanced formal academic nursing education programs including overseeing the license examination administration process.
