Provides relief to county residents to help in removing barriers to self-sufficiency and encourage self-support. Assistance may available in the areas of of fuel, rent, clothing, groceries, prescriptions, heat and electricity, burial services, or other basic needs services. Relief payments are made to service providers, not to the clients themselves.

Voucher meals are a supplementary meal offering in select locations in the service area at local restaurants, to help provide meals on weekends or during irregular schedules, and promotes small business. Participants will be able to use a voucher ticket to get an entree, fruit, vegetable, and bread.

Provides comprehensive services for families in need. Services include intake assessment, information about community resources, case management, outreach, food stamp application assistance, housing education, emergency food and shelter help.

Helps active military members with delinquent financial matters including rent/mortgage assistance, utility bill assistance, food assistance, and auto repairs.

Provides emergency assistance to individuals and families who find themselves without the basic necessities for survival. Funding is limited to rent assistance, utility and water assistance, clothing and winter coat vouchers, and emergency food.

Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Matches the value of SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps) EBT purchases made on fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets and grocery stores with additional dollars to spend on more fresh fruits and vegetables.

For instance, a family that spends $5 in SNAP benefits on fresh fruits and vegetables at a participating farmers market or grocery store receives an additional $5 in Double Up Food Bucks to purchase more fresh fruits and vegetables at their next shopping trip.
