Senior Care Options program available to older Nebraskans who are considering admission to a nursing home and may be eligible for Medicaid assistance. Clients are screened according to a standardized assessment process developed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

A deposit equivalent to 2 weeks delivery is included in the application process. No deliveries are made on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Provides hot meals delivered around midday to home bound seniors on a general diet. This program serves seniors throughout Sangamon and Menard Counties.

-- For residents of Nebraska City, home delivered meals must be arranged through the city's Meals on Wheels program.

Offered to any individual who is eligible throughout Marion county. Individuals not on a waiver in Pella or Knoxville must contract the congregate meal site for home delivery.

Offers 20 varieties of frozen, home-style meals shipped directly to households, ready to heat and eat. The menu, including breakfast options and snacks, changes every 3 months.

Food pantry serving the people who live in the greater Sarpy County and Ralston community. Provides clients with groceries, diapers, meats, dairy products and personal hygiene products every 30 days.
