Adult immunization clinic including vaccines for immigration, work, and/or school. (Call for an appointment and for current fees.)

Vaccine program for children up to 18 years of age.

WIC nutritional program provides supplemental food.

Breastfeeding information and education.

Environmental health safety and surety - air, food, and water inspection and contamination issues (complaints and questions). Natural and infectious disease information, such as West Nile virus, insect bites, etc.

Emergency preparedness and response for bioterrorism threats (chemical, biological, and nuclear), mass immunization clinics, strategic national stockpile, volunteer opportunities.

Public health information.

Medical clinic providing illness/minor injury care, well child exams, school/sport physicals, employment physicals, lead testing, patient assistance program enrollment through needymeds.org, chronic disease management, diabetes/blood glucose testing, high blood pressure testing, acute illness, and dentist referrals.

Provides glucometers and test strips to the uninsured. If you have insurance contact Jennifer at (319) 862-2636.

Offers free blood pressure checks throughout the county. With assistance of medical agencies also provides diabetic screenings, hearing tests, glaucoma screenings, flu shots, and cholesterol screenings.

Offers diabetes screening, drug and alcohol testing, TB testing (except Thu), urine pregnancy tests, physicals for school, sports, well child, adult, pre-employment. Lead poisoning screening, and blood pressure screening.

Primary medical care services for most minor or intermediate sickness.

Services also include, physicals for adults, community wellness groups, and screenings that are conducted throughout the community for individuals who are at high risk for a particular disease, like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or cancer. Prescription assistance is also offered.
