Tech Tools, a developmental technology library, provides adapted toys and devices to people of all ages with individual and physical disabilities at no cost to families and professionals. Libraries are located in Omaha, Gretna, Lincoln, Norfolk, Grand Island, and Kearney.

Family Focus is a series of events throughout the year designed for the entire family unit bringing families facing similar challenges together and providing the opportunity to draw strength and knowledge as well as relax and socialize.

Offers services which assist persons with disabilities in achieving and/or maintaining independence. Services include, but are not limited to:

- Information and Referral (personal assistant, interpreter, and housing referrals).

- Access and Advocacy (accessibility surveys, assistive devices, Braille printing).

- Skills Development (personal assistant management training, basic computer skills, public transit use, budgeting).

- Counseling (independent living, peer, vocational).

- Free Amplified Phones for Illinois residents with verifiable hearing loss who have a land line.

- Independent Living Needs Assessment.

- Mass Transit District Disability Verification.

- Reintegration into the community from nursing home, etc. (Includes possible financial assistance for moving home or into supportive living).

- PACE Presentations.

- PACE will readily provide sign language interpreters to access PACE events on request.

SENIOR & COMMUNITY CENTER | MOUNT MORRIS SENIOR CITIZENS COUNCIL

Provides a multi-purpose center offering social, educational, health, and recreational programs to seniors and community members of all ages. Programs include:

- Activities, classes, resources, and groups to facilitate and support healthy lifestyles for clients.

- Cafe open five days a week. Donations are welcomed to support its operation.

- Medical equipment loan closet.

- Volunteers coordinate with a local supermarket to provide home grocery delivery weekly.

- Annual health fair and flu / pneumonia clinic is held in collaboration with the Ogle County Health Department in the facility.

- Exercise and fitness classes, in partnership with Highland Community College, are offered on Mon, Wed, Fri: 9:00 am.

- Houses the SHIP program, which assists clients with Medicare insurance issues and other assistance such as help with Benefit Access Application.

Provides informational and educational programming targeted toward a consumer or a group of consumers with the intent to develop or increase the skills, knowledge and/or abilities required to live, work and play in the community.

ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES | EASTERSEALS CENTRAL ILLINOIS

- Ray and Kathy LaHood Center for Cerebral Palsy: Variety of diagnoses that impact movement and motor development, including but not limited to cerebral palsy, hypotonia, developmental delays, and genetic disorders. May assess the child's range of motion, gait pattern, orthotics, and other assistive technology equipment, review the child and family's needs, and work with the family and physician to establish a plan of care.

- Orthotics Clinic: Prescription for custom-fitted orthotics/braces to provide stability and support for proper positioning of the feet and ankles during standing, walking, and other functional activities.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT | ILLINOIS TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACCESS CORPORATION

Offers a voucher program and loan program for specialized telecommunications equipment for individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, speech-disabled, or deaf-blind.

- Voucher Program: The client owns the equipment. Equipment is covered under a 3-year warranty. Participants in good standing are eligible for a new voucher every 3 years.

- Loan Program: ITAC loans the equipment to the client and takes care of the normal upkeep of the equipment. Repairs and exchanges are covered under normal usage, wear, and tear.

Equipment available includes:

- Amplified phones.

- Captioned phones.

- Cell (loan program only).

- Cell phone amplifier.

- Speech equipment.

- TTY, deaf iPhone/deaf iPad (iPhone and iPad are part of the loam program only).

Provides call captioning solutions for your home phone. After sign up , a complimentary CaptionCall phone is provided as part of the service. It works like a regular phone, but has a large touchscreen that displays scrolling text of your conversation for clear caption phone calls.

Sorenson CaptionCall is a provider of IP CTS which is a federal program supporting the requirement of the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) to allow individuals with hearing loss to use the phone in a manner that is functionally equivalent to a person without hearing loss. There is no cost for the CaptionCall phone or the captioning service.
