FAMILIES AND SCHOOLS TOGETHER | WESTERN COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCES

Eight week program for the prevention of substance abuse, juvenile delinquency, school failure, child abuse and neglect, mental health problems, and violence. FAST consists of a team of community members (teachers, community partners, parents, and volunteers) who run the program each week.

SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION AND RECOVERY SERVICES | EGYPTIAN PUBLIC AND MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Provides DUI evaluation/risk education, counseling, and substance abuse school-based prevention programs. Outpatient counseling is available for adults and adolescents, and substance abusers or persons whose lives are impacted by substance abuse. Counseling takes place in the form of individual and group counseling, family counseling, and referral to appropriate self-help groups.

For adolescents, the Mental Illness & Substance Abuse (MISA) specialist provides age-appropriate and individualized treatment to dual diagnosed adolescents, addressing issues such as behaviors, self-esteem, emotional and physical health, strengths and goals, substance abuse, history, relapse prevention, healthy recovery environments.

The Recovery Resource Center is a central point of information to help individuals and families navigate substance use treatment and recovery services. Services include assessments, referral, treatment, and support services.

Advocates for victims' rights, provides emotional support for victims and their families, and assists victims through the criminal court process.

Volunteers monitor court cases.

Partners with law enforcement agencies to ensure life-saving laws can be enforced at the local level.

Childhood and adult vaccines for all people are provided at each of Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department's three locations in Norfolk, Tekamah and Wisner. Includes vaccines for those who are privately insured, Medicare, Medicaid and those who are uninsured.

MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES | REGION II HUMAN SERVICES

Outpatient therapy and counseling for individuals and families, in addition to medication management and substance abuse evaluations.

Arm in Arm, Aiding Recovering Moms is a program for pregnant and/or parenting women who also have problems with substance abuse.

Substance abuse recovery planning coordinates schools, employers, family, and recovering person to put a plan in place that includes relapse prevention.

Youth care coordination program offers one-to-one support and case management services for children and youth with a severe emotional disturbance (SED) diagnosis.

Community support assists persons with severe and persistent mental illness through one-to-one services, helping clients live in a residence of their choice. Provides assessment, planning, linking and monitoring services to meet the client's needs.

Prevention services include a wide-range of speakers, informational videos, books, and brochures.


Emergency support program provides support to individuals who are experiencing a mental health or substance use emergency.


Medication Assisted Treatment including Medication Management with providers specially trained and licensed to provide MAT.
